A brief footchase along I-35 and Ed Noble Parkway ended Thursday morning with a man in handcuffs.
According to Norman Police Capt. Leonard Judy, officers stopped a vehicle along I-35 at 10:51 a.m. Police were conducting a warrant check when one man broke and ran.
One officer covered the two remaining occupants at gunpoint, while another chased the suspect.
The individual was apprehended at the Home Depot along Ed Noble Parkway.
All three occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody by Norman Police, who are still determining whether there are any outstanding warrants. The names of the occupants have not yet been released.
