Man charged with assaulting convenience store clerk

Transcript Staff

An Oklahoma City man is accused of sexually assaulting a woman employee of a convenience store March 8 in northwest Cleveland County.

Homer Wayne Trout Jr., 32, was charged Friday in Cleveland County Court with sexual battery.

According to court documents, Oklahoma City Police Officer Kyle Kirby responded to a call of an assault in the store at 3600 S.W. 104th St. When Kirby arrived, the victim told him the man, a regular customer, grabbed her arms, began kissing her neck, lifted her skirt and touched her lower back and buttocks. The attack was videotaped and recorded, police said.

After his arrest, Trout was placed in the patrol car and allegedly told the officer he “has connections in Las Vegas and there would be a hit on (the police officer’s) life by the end of the week.”

Other felonies filed Friday include:

• Michael Choate, 20, Oklahoma City, unlawful cultivation of marijuana;

• Adam Roy Lanman, 35, Norman, knowingly concealing stolen property;

• Francis David Perzanowski, 36, Thomas, domestic abuse, after former conviction of a felony;

• Jacob Anthony Little, 21, El Dorado, Kan., unlawful possession of marijuana.
