Summer break is over. Norman Public Schools students begin a new school year today.
Elementary classes will start at 7:55 a.m. and the school day will end at 2:40 p.m. Middle school students can expect class to start at 8:40 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. The school day for high school students will begin at 8:55 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m.
NPS students won't attend school Sept. 1, in observance of Labor Day.
Students will get two more days off from class Oct. 16 and 17 for fall break.
