An Oklahoma City woman was injured in a motorcycle accident early Thursday morning, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
Daphne Black, 46, of Oklahoma City was hurt when her 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle struck another motorcycle driven by Michelle Walden, 40, of Moore.
Officers said Black's motorcycle struck Walden's bike after Walden had slowed to help a motorist on the inside shoulder of I-44 near the southbound 23rd Street exit.
The accident occurred about 12:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
Walden was examined at the scene and refused treatment. Black was transported by EMSA to the OU medical Center where she is listed in critical condition with head and arm injuries.
Neither driver was wearing a helmet, officers said.
