"They can go to our site and click on the link to the state election board and there, they can check their status and find out where their polling place is," she said.

The election board's Web site is: www.clevelandcountyelectionboard.com.

For new voters or those who change their registration, Roberts said they simply need to fill out the voter form and sign the oath.

"That's all they need to do," she said. "They don't need any other information."

With a huge turnout expected the year, Roberts said election board officials are encouraging people to take advantage of the state's absentee-in-person voting or vote by mail.

"If people are not going to be able to vote on election day, they can request an absentee ballot and vote by mail," she said. "We're expecting big lines on election day."
