Teen charged with rape under Youthful Offender Act

A 15-year-old Luther boy was charged Friday in Cleveland County District Court under the Youthful Offender Act with felony crimes of first-degree rape, first-degree rape by instrumentation and forcible sodomy, for sexual acts allegedly committed over a three-month period with a 10-year-old boy.

The acts were allegedly committed between July 1 and Sept. 30 at a residence in the 800 block of North Markwell Avenue in Moore. When interviewed by Moore police, the 15-year-old admitted he'd been playing a "game" with the 10-year-old over the last three months, police said. He admitted molesting the boy on several occasions, and forcing the boy to perform oral sodomy, police said.

Also Friday, a man was charged with unlawful trafficking in illegal drugs, following a traffic stop and routine search of his vehicle, police said.

Michael William Collins, 27, Oklahoma City, was stopped at Southeast 104th and Linn Avenue in south Oklahoma City, and arrested for driving without a license. Police said an inventory was being taken of the vehicle, and 44 grams of methamphetamine was found in the console.

Other charges filed Friday include:

Tony Ray Brown, 23, Norman, aggravated assault and battery;

Justin Tyler Steward, 18, Norman, burglary of an automobile;

Carlos Balmar Lizano, 36, Moore, unlawful possession of controlled drugs;

Jeremiah Shane Taylore, 24, Oklahoma City, unlawful possession of controlled drugs; possession of a lost or mislaid credit card;

Miranda Louise Jones, 25, transient, possession of a lost or mislaid credit card;

Robert Eugene Larson, 42, Moore, unlawful registration within a prohibited area; moving from a registered address without notification;

Matthew George Todor, 34, Tulsa, unauthorized use of a vehicle;

Katrina Lee Powell, 33, Lexington, child endangerment; unlawful possession of controlled drugs;

Marvin Truman Clark, 57, Oklahoma City, two counts of lewd molestation.
