Woman charged in robbery attempt

A Norman woman has been charged with attempting to rob two female clerks at a local convenience store Wednesday night.
Valerie Renee Perry, 26, was charged Friday with attempted robbery by force and fear. According to police, Perry entered the Shell Station, 1200 W. Lindsey St., at 10:24 p.m. and demanded money from the cash register.
The two clerks said the robber threatened to pull a gun and asked: "Is it worth dying for?"
Police said Perry left on foot when the clerks refused to give her money.
Other felonies filed Friday include:
· Patrick Allen Robinson, 21, Oklahoma City, unlawful possession of a controlled drug;
· Bradley Earl Julian, 22, Oklahoma City, unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute;
· Chad Shawn McKinnon, 28, Lexington, domestic abuse by strangulation;
· Billy James Snowden, 47, Lexington, knowingly concealing stolen property; possession of burglary tools;
· Daniel Eugene Hendricks, 37, Lindsay, knowingly concealing stolen property; possession of burglary tools;
· Rodney Allen Thomas, 30, address unknown, fugitive complaint;
· Darrell Lee Howard, 57, Oklahoma City, two counts of sexual abuse of a child;
· Amador Carrasco, 45, Oklahoma City, unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous drug;
· Tara Desiree Springfield, 28, Asher, false personation;
· Michael Lee Lafferty III, 19, Oklahoma City, conspiracy to commit a felony; attempted burglary of an automobile; five counts of burglary of an automobile;
· James Shaffer, 31, Oklahoma City, conspiracy to commit a felony; larceny of copper; malicious injury to property; second-degree burglary;
· Steven Scott Yawberry, 43, Oklahoma City, conspiracy to commit a felony; larceny of copper; malicious injury to property; second-degree burglary.
