?OETA's Voter Voices crew is traveling the state talking to Oklahomans and sharing their stories online and weeknights at 6:30 p.m. on the Oklahoma News Report. The Norman segments will air within the next week and be posted online at oeta.tv.

Collins considers alternative vehicles ?

?OKLAHOMA CITY -- At the request of Rep. Wallace Collins, D-Norman, an interim study was conducted last Tuesday to review the possibility of allowing additional vehicles to be licensed and deemed "street legal."?

Collins said he was asked by constituents to consider the four-wheeled vehicles as a fuel efficient alternative to current modes of transportation. The vehicles are often referred to as "Light Personal Vehicles" (LPV's) and are also known as "Quadracycles."

These vehicles are legal in several states including Arizona, Wyoming, Montana and Utah.

?Given these vehicles are essentially four-wheeled motorcycles, the primary advantage lies in their increased stability, visibility and fuel efficiency.
