Norman Regional Health System will host a Diabetes Health Fair 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Norman Regional Education Center.

Those interested in diabetes prevention and management are encouraged to attend. The health fair is offering blood pressure screenings, foot exams, diabetes information, healthy food demonstrations, the newest diabetes products, door prizes, nutritious snacks and more.

Julie Dupell, a licensed psychologist with the Disordered Eating Center of Central Oklahoma, will present "Our Gadgets, Our Selves: Technology, Effect and the Body." Dupell specializes in diabetes management, diet counseling and one-on-one nutrition consulting.

Keri Hale, a registered and licensed dietitian with Norman Regional, will present "Choose This, Not That" based on a book by David Zinczenko and Matt Goulding. Hale will provide nutrition information that can mean the difference between a healthy weight and obesity.
