Crossroads scores 100 percent re-certification

The State Board of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services has re-certified Crossroads Youth -- Family Services, Inc. as an outpatient alcohol and drug treatment program for children, youth and their families.

Crossroads YFS application for re-certification was approved at the board's Nov. 14 meeting in Oklahoma City. The certification is effective Dec. 1 and will continue until June 2011. At that time, re-certification will require another site visit by Department of Mental Health -- Substance Abuse Services surveyors.

Crossroads YFS received the required score of 100 percent on DMHSAS extensive list of alcohol and drug abuse treatment standards. Crossroads' services include individual, family and group counseling as well as substance abuse educational programs for youth, offered as requested through school districts in Cleveland County.

Alcohol and drug treatment services are provided at Crossroads' Counseling Center at 1650 W. Tecumseh Road, Suite 500, 321-0240.
