Officers with the Norman Police Department Narcotics Division served a search warrant Wednesday at an apartment in the 2000 block of West Brooks Street.

According to police, two residents of the apartment and one visitor were charged Thursday with drug-related felonies as a result of the search.

The residents, Abidemi Ehinmisan Sakote, 27, and Quintavais Johnson, 19, were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; failure to display a tax stamp on a controlled dangerous drug; unlawful possession of a controlled drug within 1,000 feet of a school; unlawfully maintaining a dwelling house used to keep or sell a controlled dangerous drug; and possession of a firearm while in commission of a felony

The other defendant, Brandy Tiana Koassechony 18, Norman, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled drug within 1,000 feet of a school.

Also Thursday, Norman Detective Darin Morgan stopped a vehicle on Interstate 35 for traveling 64 miles per hour in a 60 mph zone. Morgan reportedly smelled the odor of marijuana and deployed Lux, a certified drug dog, who "alerted" on the vehicle.

Police said a baggie of marijuana was found in the center console, along with a bag containing U.S. currency. A cell phone also was found, containing drug-related text messages.

Other felonies filed Thursday include:

· Ronald Lee Baker, 18, Norman, feloniously pointing a firearm; possession of a sawed-off shotgun;

· Lacee Danielle Marez, 20, unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous drug;

· Kerry Lee Terrill, 43, Purcell, domestic abuse by strangulation.
