With the holidays just around the corner, The Standing Buffalo Indian Art Gallery -- Gifts will host an opening reception for its second annual Holiday Art Show -- Sale Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m.

The reception will be at the gallery, 106 E. Main St.

"This exhibit allows us to showcase the tremendous talent that American Indian art has to offer," said gallery owner Tom Farris. "All of our participating artists are bringing new pieces, so we are able to offer several new pieces for our customers just in time for the Holidays."

The show features work by more than 50 artists including: Richard Aitson, Matthew Bearden, Fred Beaver, Marwin Begaye, Woody Big Bow, Archie Blackowl, Acee Blue Eagle, Bennie Buffalo, Quanah Parker Burgess, Bruce Caesar, T.C. Cannon, Cole Cathey, Dylan Cavin, Sherman Chaddlesone, Mirac Creepingbear, Ted Creepingbear, Woody Crumbo, Bill Glass, Kennetha Greenwood, Brent Greenwood, Enoch Kelly Haney, Benjamin Harjo Jr., Larry Hood, Rance Hood, The Kiowa Five, Brent Learned, Barthell Little Chief, Merlin Little Thunder, Robby McMurtry, Gary Montgomery, Doc Tate Nevaquaya, John Nieto, Harvey Pratt, Joel Queen, Robert Redbird, d.g. smalling, Virginia Stroud, Robert Taylor, Dana Tiger, Antowine Warrior, Micah Wesley, Tillier Wesley, Dick West, David Williams and Rhonda Williams.

"The collected artists featured in this show are the best in contemporary American Indian art," Farris said. "We have masters in all media of the genre including: paintings, pottery, jewelry, baskets, bead-work and sculpture, ranging from very traditional to more contemporary styles."

In addition to the exhibit, a Christmas tree will be decorated with a variety of hand crafted Native American ornaments available for purchase, along with a selection of gifts.

The exhibit will run through Dec. 31.
