Hayley Pope of Bentonville, Ark., and Brian Sasso of Norman were united in marriage June 13 at a private evening ceremony at Grotto Spring in Eureka Springs, Ark. Denise Coleman officiated. A reception followed at Autumn Breeze Restaurant.
The bride is the daughter of Kevin Wilfong of Bentonville. The bridegroom is the son of Abe and Susan Sasso of Norman.
Maid of honor was Kaye-leigh Collins of Bentonville. Best man was Jonathon Cobbs of Oklahoma City.
The bride wore a white chiffon gown with pleated bust, empire waist and tie back. She carried a bouquet of white calla lilies and white hydrangeas.
The bride is a graduate of Bentonville High School. She attended the University of Arkansas and served two tours in Iraq with the U.S. Army. She is employed by Olde Tyme Tutors.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Norman North High School and attended the University of Oklahoma and Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, Texas. He is a military policeman with the U.S. Army and recently completed a tour of Iraq. The couple met in Germany.
The couple will reside in Killeen, Texas, where the groom will be stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, and the bride will continue her education at Tarleton State University.
