Published November 06, 2009 12:15 am - Amanda Leigh Lackey and Kyle Ewing Burris, both of Norman, were married Aug. 15 at First Presbyterian Church of Oklahoma City.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Charles Lackey of Norman. She is a graduate of Norman North High School and the University of Oklahoma.

Amanda Leigh Lackey and Kyle Ewing Burris, both of Norman, were married Aug. 15 at First Presbyterian Church of Oklahoma City.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Charles Lackey of Norman. She is a graduate of Norman North High School and the University of Oklahoma. She is employed as a diabetes specialist for NovoNordisk.
The groom is the son of Peggy Walters Burris of Oklahoma City and Michael Burris of Moore. He is a graduate of Heritage Hall School and OU and is employed in insurance sales with Messer-Bowers.
The bride wore a strapless mermaid gown of irovy silk-faced satin. Her flowers were white hydrangea, white spray roses, white calla lillies, pink calcynia and stock. A locket with pictures of her nanny and granddaddy was tied to the bouquet.
The wedding was officiated by the Rev. Matt Meinke.
Matrons of honor were Kim Meacham of Clinton and Kristen Brown of Oklahoma City, sisters of the groom.
The maid of honor was Lauren Lackey of Norman, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Hilari Tayrien of Houston, Katie Miller of Bartlesville, Kimi Winkler of Sherman Oaks, Calif., Laura Bishop of Norman, Taylor Aldridge of Moore, Kristen Ciesielski of Grand Prairie, Texas, Jill Kruggel of Chicago, Sarah Bloom of Oklahoma City, Abbey Engles of Olathe, Kan., and Cydney Lee of Norman.
The best men were Ryan Meacham of Clinton and Matt Brown of Oklahoma City, both brothers-in-law of the groom.
Groomsmen were Ryan Lacker of Norman, brother of the bride, Kelsey Condley of Norman, Tanner Condley of Tulsa, Ron Oliver of Norman, Jake Aldridge of Moore, Brad Walker of Grand Prairie, Texas, Jarrod Rowe of Oklahoma City, Court Roueche of Norman and Trey Holloway of Chevy Chase, Md.
Ushers were Tim George of Wilmington, Del., Tommy Kelley of Oklahoma City, John Kurkijan of Dallas, Rusty Montgomery of Superior, Colo., and Jimmy Polk of Oklahoma City.
Flower girls were Bella Brown of Oklahoma City and Grace Meacham of Clinton, nieces of the groom.
Ring bearers were Ryder Tayrien of Houston, second cousin of the bride, and Micah Brown of Oklahoma City, nephew of the groom.
Members of the house party were Brooke Boethin of Tulsa, Jenna Brooksher of Norman, Beth Herrmann of Tulsa and Melissa Palmer of Oklahoma City.
A reception followed at Oklahoma City Golf -- Country Club.
