The bride is the daughter of David and Sherry Turney of Edmond. She is the granddaughter of Doris and Gene Turney of Oklahoma City.

Merrick Ann Turney and Mitchell Edward Rankin, both of Edmond, were married June 6 at Champel Hill United Methodist Church.
The bride is the daughter of David and Sherry Turney of Edmond. She is the granddaughter of Doris and Gene Turney of Oklahoma City. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and is employed with Edmond Public Schools.
The groom is the son of Stan and Julie Rankin of Oklahoma City. He is the grandson of Bill and Daphne Lewis of Norman and Oleta Rankin of Tulsa. He is an OU graduate and employed with Flintco Inc.
The maid of honor was Chelsea Gee of Oklahoma City.
Bridesmaids were Lauren Lawson of Dallas, McKenna Brady of Tulsa, Catherine Howell of Dallas, Amber Kleehammer of Oklahoma City, Morgan Stotts of Edmond and Libby Rankin of Oklahoma City.
The best man was Brian Metz of Tulsa.
Groomsmen were Maury Birdwell of Edmond, John Jarrett of Dallas, Burke Lewis of Oklahoma City, Kevin Boyd of Norman, Russ Gee of Oklahoma City and Shawn Stotts of Edmond.
Ushers were Stephen Gary and Glenn McCauley, both of Edmond.
The flower girl was Grace Stotts of Edmond.
David Stotts of Edmond served as the ring bearer.

A reception followed at Gaillardia Country Club.
