NORMAN — Kelli Elizabeth Keesee and Travis Loyd Cox plan to exchange wedding vows at 7 p.m. Oct. 19 at Thunderbird Wedding Chapel in Norman.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Michael and Claudia Keesee, of Pauls Valley. She is the granddaughter of the late Bill and Martha Loveday of Byars and the late Edward and Nettie Keesee of Roady. She is a 2005 graduate of Pauls Valley High School. She received a Bachelor of Science in sociology in 2011 and will graduate in December with a master’s degree in human resources administration from East Central University in Ada.
The future groom is the son of Daniel Cox and Lana Holt, of Noble. He is the grandson of the late William and Maxine Mercer and the late Lemmual and Opal Cox, all of Noble. He is a 2002 graduate of Lexington High School. After graduating from high school, he spent six years in the Navy serving his country as a rescue swimmer, doorgunner and airframer. He achieved the rank of E5 Petty Officer at the end of his duty in 2009. He is a student at East Central University and will graduate in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice law enforcement.
The couple has made their home in Pauls Valley.
