NORMAN — Brynn Louise Deignan and Gregory David Brown, both of Norman, exchanged wedding vows on Aug. 4, in an outdoor ceremony at the groom’s family cabin in Pagosa Springs, Colo. Minister Bradley Wilson officiated the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Brett and Bobette Deignan, Norman. She is the granddaughter of Max and Ivanell Meek, Norman, and the late John and Betty Deignan, Toledo Bend, Texas.
Parents of the groom are Dennis and DeAnn Brown, Edmond, and Deb Cacy, Oklahoma City. He is the grandson of the late Buster and Betty Brown, Oklahoma City, Ilsa and the late Lowell Cheatwood, Bethany, and Chuck and Sue Northup, Springdale, Ark.
The bride wore an ivory, beaded lace, strapless gown with a chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses, daisies and blue delphiniums along with a small blue Bible which her grandmother, mother and aunt carried on their wedding days.
Serving as flower girl and ring bearer were the bride’s cousins, Julianna and Marietta Hamill, daughters of Kelly and Marion Hamill, Paris, Texas. Ushers were the groom’s brothers Mark and Jake Brown.
The bride is a student at the University of Oklahoma School of Architecture. The groom is employed at Professional Reporters in Oklahoma City.
Following an eight day honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Norman.
