NORMAN — Summer Virginia Schwabe and Jordan Michael Jiloty were married April 6, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Norman. Dr. Wade Smith and Father Tim Daly presided over the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Gail and Dennis Schwabe, of Norman. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She attended the University of Oklahoma Health Science and Oklahoma State University, obtaining a Master of Science in communication of sciences and disorders. She is a medical speech and language pathologist for a home health, outpatient and in-patient rehabilitation in Ormond Beach, Fla.
The groom is the son of Mary Kay and Mike Jiloty, of Ormond Beach. He is a graduate of Notre Dame University with a Bachelor of Arts in American studies. He obtained his juris doctorate in 2004. He is employed at NASCAR headquarters in Daytona Beach as a senior manager for government affairs. He is an attorney and registered lobbyist for NASCAR.
The bride wore a fitted Maggie Sottero gown in ivory with beaded pearls and Swarovski crystals. The bodice was accented with lace and a beaded matching floral belt with a corset back. The skirt and train were covered in ruffled Vicenza organza and pleated tulle, reminiscent of old Hollywood. The Vicenza organza and pleated tulle was adorned with Swarovski crystals and embellished, corded lace. She wore her late grandmother, Virginia McCall’s, diamond bracelet. Her veil was cathedral-length and also embellished with Swarovski crystals. The bride carried an all white, hand-tied bouquet of white peonies, roses, lillies, tulips and stephanotis with rhinestone centers.
The wedding party consisted of maids of honor Katelynn Calonkey of Norman and Megan Myers of St. Louis. The bridesmaids were Tara Fitzpatrick of Oklahoma City, Paige Waszkewitz of Fort Worth, Texas, Jordan Churchill of Boulder, Colo., Alicia Schwabe of Tulsa and Lauren Jiloty of Seattle.
