Adler, Hummel tie the knot


The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Emily Hummel and Tristan Adler, both of Edmond, exchanged wedding vows on Nov. 10, 2012, at the Oklahoma State Capitol. The Rev. Dr. Peter Balaban officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Diane Hummel and Gerard Hummel, both of Owasso.

Parents of the groom are Wendy Andruss Adler, of Rogers, Ark., and Alan Adler, of Bartlesville. Grandparents of the groom are Connie Andruss, of Norman, and Lee and Evelyn Adler, of Tulsa.

Music was provided by Chasen Shaw Wedding Entertainment.

The bride wore a gown from the Bella Rose Bridal collection.

Serving as maid of honor was Kara Hahn, of Boston.

Bridesmaid was Robyn Rolenec, of Tulsa.

Best man was Trevor Adler, of Oklahoma City.

Groomsman was Ethan Adler, of Edmond.

Ushers were Joey Hummel, of Owasso; Matt Davis, of Durham, N.C.; Andrew Baydala, of Moore; AJ Hunter, of Yukon; Jacob Uber, of Fayetteville, N.C.; and Blake Porter, of Birmingham, Ala.

Flower girl was Jordan Braudrick, daughter of Anna and Kelly Braudrick of Denton, Texas.

Ring bearer was Emerson Merrick, son of Caitlin and Scott Merrick, of Norman.

Guest book attendants were, Candee Scott, of Oklahoma City; Melissa Gonzalez, of Edmond; Trisha Whitley, of Oklahoma City; Janice Vizarelis, of Edmond; and Toni DeWitt, of Oklahoma City.

A reception took place at Meinders Hall of Mirrors.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Owasso High School and a 2007 graduate of Oklahoma State University. She is employed as a corporate trust associate for Bank of Oklahoma. She serves as president of Hounds of the Heartland, a retired racing greyhound adoption program.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Norman North High School. He was an undergraduate from the University of Oklahoma class of 2007 and received a graduate degree in 2011 from the University of Oklahoma. He is a market development analyst for Chesapeake Energy Corporation and serves as treasurer for Hounds of the Heartland.

Following a honeymoon trip to Cape Cod, the couple have established residence in Edmond.
