Jain, Johnson exchange vows

NORMAN — Ashley Jain, of Norman, and Conner Johnson, of Tulsa, exchanged wedding vows recently at Dominion House in Guthrie. The Rev. Karl Burkhardt, of Ada, officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Belinda Jain, of Norman. She is the granddaughter of Gilbert and Betty Jain, of Norman, and the late Ronald and Jean Owen.

The groom is the son of Brad and Jeanette Johnson, of Tulsa. He is the grandson of Larry Johnson and the late Darlene Johnson and Abigail Shriner and the late William Shriner.

Music was provided by soloist Erin Miller, of Albuquerque, N.M., and Cameron Johnson, of Tulsa.

The bride wore an ivory French Mikado ball gown by Stella York design that showcased a sweetheart neckline and straps accented by a custom crystal bridal sash and crystal and organza buttons lining the back. The classic full skirt was accented by pockets. She wore a custom fingertip veil.

She carried a hand-tied bouquet of tulips, hydrangeas, mini calla lillies, mokara orchids, garden roses and peonies in shades of purple, green, pink and coral with accents of yellow, orange, coral and pink.

Maid of honor was Lyndsay Jain, of Norman.

Bridesmaids were Leah Myer, of Provo, Utah; Laura Peter, of Norman; Courtney Johnson, of Tulsa; Heather Fugitt, of Edmond; Jackie Shultz, of Dallas; and Kelsey Golden, of Killeen, Texas.

Best man was Cameron Johnson.

Groomsmen were Tim Johnson, of Tulsa; Taylor Chinowth, of Tulsa; Brett Hopkins, of Dallas; Wayne Billings, of Norman; Bryan Kendall, of College Station, Texas; and Preston Draper, of Oklahoma City.

House party attendants were Erin Miller, of Albuquerque, N.M., and Abby Peter, of Norman.

A reception took place at Dominion House, Grand Ballroom in Guthrie.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Norman North High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Oklahoma in 2010 and a Master of Arts in speech language pathology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2013. She is employed at Grace Living Center in Jenks.

The groom is a 2006 graduate of Metro Christian High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts at OU in 2010 and a Master of Science in biomedical sciences Kansas City University of Biomedical Sciences in 2013. He is employed at St. John’s Hospital, of Tulsa.

Following a honeymoon at Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita, Puerto Morelos, Mexico, the couple resides in Tulsa.
