NORMAN — Rachael Ridenour, of Norman, and Joshua Lester, of Bethany, exchanged wedding vows June 29, 2013, at the home of Bill and Pat Tucker. The Rev. Lance A. Schmitz officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Randall and Sheri Ridenour.
The groom is the son of Ronald and Cara Lester.
Music during the ceremony was “Prelude and Allemande from Cello Suite No. 1,” by Johann Sebastian Bach and was performed by Josh Klossner; “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing,” performed by Matthew Lester; and “Home,” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, performed by Matthew Lester and Annabel Lamb.
The bride wore her mother’s traditional gown of white bridal satin and venetian lace. The bodice was appliquéd with venetian lace and bridal sequins, with a scoop neckline and chapel-length train.
The bride carried a bouquet of astilbe, blushing bride protea, peonies and poppy buds.
Matron of honor was Megan Hicks, of Houston, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Matthew Lester, of Oklahoma City, brother of the groom
Ushers were Christopher Thompson, of Norman, Devin Miller, of Edmond, and Andrew Patton, of Edmond.
A reception was hosted at the home of Bill and Pat Tucker.
Following a honeymoon trip to Taos and Santa Fe, N.M., the couple resides in Oklahoma City.
