He enjoyed the book so much that every time we came to the last page he asked, "Can we read it again, please?"
After the fifth reading in one sitting, I was ready to progress to another book -- but my son never tired of turning its glossy pages, loving every picture equally.

After the fifth reading in one sitting, I was ready to progress to another book -- but my son never tired of turning its glossy pages, loving every picture equally. He just couldn't get enough.
In my childhood, my favorite book was Cinderella. There's just something enchanting about the glass slipper and the prince and I can't seem to get enough of the magical moment when he slips the shoe on her foot and he realizes he's found his true love.
For my husband -- it's a different venue:? Movies. He's seen "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence" so many times he could be cast as an understudy for every actor's part.
"It's my steak Liberty -- you pick it up," is just one of the famous lines by John Wayne that triggers a male bonding with the character unsurpassed by any other. "The Searchers" comes in as a close second.
But there's another book -- one full of stories, like the one about a little boy, a slingshot and a giant that makes you want to stand up and cheer.
Or the story about the three Hebrew children who were tossed into a furnace and walked out without a hair on their heads singed.
The count of Moses and the red sea inspired Hollywood directors so much they made a reenactment of the miracle -- that's pretty powerful stuff.
For the ladies with romance in their hearts -- there's the story of Ruth and Boaz. True love triumphs.
The day the Angels proclaimed the birth of Our King while wise men came from afar has changed our lives forever.
Miracles like turning water into wine; feeding 5,000 people with five loaves and two fishes; raising a girl from the dead; causing the blind to see, the lame to walk, just to mention a few.
A book like none other. There's a song written back in 1880 -- the words by Fannie J. Crosby: "Tell Me The Story of Jesus."
"Tell me the story of Jesus, write on my heart every word. Tell me the story most precious, sweetest that ever was heard."
For a page-turner that will change your life forever, try reading A book -- a special book, God's word.
