Young, a transplant to Oklahoma from Central Wisconsin where she completed undergraduate degrees in communication and sociology, is a resident of Norman. Young joins Work Activity Center American Staff The Work Activity Center Inc. in Moore recently announced that Kathy Young will take over duties as executive director.
Young, a transplant to Oklahoma from Central Wisconsin where she completed undergraduate degrees in communication and sociology, is a resident of Norman. Young has a masters degree in an area of allied health and a Ph.D. in adult and higher education from the University of Oklahoma. The Work Activity Center is celebrating 30 years of serving individuals with developmental disabilities. The center consists of 25 individuals with developmental disabilities who earn their living through productive work contracts. The center also holds a task-specific contract with Tinker Air Force Base along with many other organizations.
