The Norman Transcript

Services for Sherry Ann Nevels, 61, of Norman will be 10 a.m. today at the South Canadian Valley Church of Christ with Bruce Kessler officiating. Interment will follow in the Lexington Cemetery.

Mrs. Nevels was born Sept. 8, 1946, in Lexington to Clifford and Emma (Lairson) Coleman. She died Sunday, Feb. 24, in Norman.

On July 1, 1966, she married Mr. James Nevels in Norman. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Club of Norman.

Mrs. Nevels was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband James of the home; mother Emma Wilson of Shawnee; daughter Rachel C. Vallee and husband Charles of Moore; son James Nevels III of Norman; sisters Jaquetta Smith of McLoud and Susie Hamilton of Shawnee; granddaughter Chelsea Ann Vallee; and numerous extended family and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Primrose Funeral Service.
