Russell Eugene Wilkerson

NORMAN — Russell Eugene Wilkerson, 43, passed from this life Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013. He was born to Earl and Jamie (Brown) Wilkerson on Sept. 4, 1969, in Norman, where he lived most of his life until buying land east of Noble, where he could make a place for his family, his parents and his uncle, Merle. He resided there until his death.

On June 29, 2000, Russell married the love of his life, Patricia Marie Densmore. Russell was a concrete finisher throughout his working life. His greatest passion was fishing with his son, Jamie, and his fishing buddies, his cousin and brotherly bond, Kyle Hodges, Taft Densmore, Dustin Densmore and Rex Bailey. He also enjoyed his yard and gardening, which was always more than we could eat, but he got great enjoyment sharing with others. He was a good family man who loved his family dearly. He never met a stranger; he would talk and visit with anyone he came in contact with.

Russell was proceeded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents; his special uncle, Merle Wilkerson; a life-long friend, Leslie Watford; brother-in-law Randy Densmore; and many aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his wife, “Pat” of the home; his mother and father; only sister, DeAnna Houck and family; two sons and one daughter, Jamie Dalton Wilkerson, Kendall Densmore and Cassandra Densmore; three grandchildren, Samarah Densmore, Kolton Densmore and Jaydon Jennings; many brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; special friends and family Rick Houck and Jimbo Densmore; and other numerous friends.

He will truly be missed.

Cremation services are provided through McMahans Funeral Service.

At Russell’s request, no services will be hosted.
