NORMAN — Judith Ann White-Canning was born Dec. 2, 1948, in Oklahoma City to Virgil Preston and Lovey (McCalip) White. She departed this life Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, in Oklahoma City at the age of 65.
Judith had resided in Noble for more than two years, coming from Piedmont. She attended school in Norman and made her career as a homemaker. On Sept. 20, 2011, she and Mr. Charles Canning were united in marriage. Judith enjoyed dancing, spending time with her family, collecting porcelain dolls, drawing and growing plants.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Tommy and Gary Smith; and one granddaughter.
She is survived by her husband, Charles of the home; one son, Larry Robbins; two daughters, Melinda Schroll and Tassey Eisenhour; two brothers, Dwayne Dodd and Bobby Dodd; three sisters, Rita Puckett, Pat Larson and Suzanne Smeltzer; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one stepson, Charles D. Canning II; one stepdaughter, Shannon Teague; two stepgreat-grandsons; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at McMahans Funeral Home in Noble. Paster Steve Lance and JoAnn Dodd will officiate. Interment will be at Fairview Maguire Cemetery in Noble.
Arrangements are under the direction of McMahans Funeral Home in Noble.
