NORMAN — James “Jim, Jimbo or Jimmy” Allen Steadman was born Jan 21, 1962, in Oklahoma City. He went to be with our Lord and his favorite fishing buddy, his dad Jean Warren Steadman, along with many friends and family, Feb. 10, 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Staci Steadman; two daughters, Amanda Carpenter and Hannah Steadman; three sons, Jason Steadman, Will Steadman and Sammy; mother Charlene Steadman; mother-in-law Sharon Pattison; father-in-law Steven Pattison; one sister, Jeanette Steadman; one brother, Jearl Steadman; brother-in-law Scott Pattison; two grandsons and two granddaughters; and many other family members that he loved and cherished.
He was an amazing husband, son, brother, daddy and foster daddy. Jim was very loved and respected by all who had the pleasure of knowing him and he will be greatly missed.
His life will be celebrated 1 p.m. Monday at Community Church in Guthrie. And his final words to everyone would be, “may God be with you down the rodeo trail.”
