Edna and Frank both expressed a desire to offer very warm and heartfelt thanks to a dear friend who became family, Randy Coyne. Randy’s help through the years has been invaluable. Rivermont Retirement Community has been home to Edna (and Frank until his passing) for many years. She wished to express her gratitude to the staff for the excellent service and for making her always feel at home and among friends. Family and friends also wish to express thanks to Good Shepherd Hospice for the excellent care they gave to Edna.
The Trisagion Prayers of Mercy will be 6:30 p.m. today at the Holy Ascension Orthodox Christian Church, 3350 12th Avenue NE in Norman (one block south of Tecumseh Road).
Funeral services for Edna will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Holy Ascension Orthodox Christian Church, with Father Justin McFeeters officiating. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, 2700 N. Shartel Ave. in Oklahoma City.
Arrangements for Edna and her family were placed in the care of the Vice family at Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman.
