Stacy Nicole McCall Martin

NORMAN — Stacy Nicole McCall Martin, 28, was met by her grandparents and entered Heaven on Friday Feb. 21, 2014, in Norman after a sudden illness. Stacy was born Aug. 5, 1985, in Oklahoma City to Carole Miller McCall and Thomas Frank McCall Jr.

Stacy lived most of her life in Norman, graduating from Norman North High School in 2003. After graduating, she moved to Weatherford, where she completed her freshman year. The following year, she returned to Norman and completed another year at Rose State College. Stacy worked at Jamba Juice in Norman, then she went to work for 7-11 in Midwest City until Tan and Tone hired her as assistant manager.

Stacy met the love of her life and soul mate, as she called him her captain, Michael James Martin. They married on March 12, 2012. Several months later, they were blessed with their daughter, Vivian Lavonne Martin. Vivian was the light of her life, and she cherished everything having to do with their daughter. She often said she could not understand how this beautiful, wonderful, perfect, little creature could be a part of her. Stacy was filled with love for Michael and Vivian.

In 2013, Stacy began working at Ford Funeral Services in Midwest City. Stacy loved this and was extremely happy. A job she loved, a husband she adored and an angel for a daughter. During this time, Stacy became ill with shingles. She had to stop working but planned to return. Several months later, the illness returned. Stacy was loved by so many. She was kind and loving and touched so many lives in her short life. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Ora Mae Frankenberg and J.C. Miller Jr., grandparents Roy and Zoe Frankenberg and Clyde Miller, all of Purcell.

Paternal grandparents are Thomas Frank and Vivian McCall and great-grandmother, Serena May, all of Purcell.
