NORMAN — Jack Rae Taylor, 77, of Norman, was born Nov. 25, 1936, to Charles McRae and Ruby Mae Taylor in Sullivan, Ind. Jack passed away Jan. 30, 2014, at his home. Jack was united in marriage to JoAnn Harlow in 1956 and they were blessed with two children, Kevin and Tami.
Jack graduated from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology with a degree in engineering. He worked for Star Building Systems for 37 years, starting as an assistant chief engineer and retired in 2003 as president. He was a man of integrity and had a heart for helping others.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, JoAnn; and one sister, Donna Clingerman.
Jack leaves to cherish his memory his son, Kevin Taylor and wife Tina of Corinth, Texas; his daughter, Tami Bramel and husband Stan of Edmond; three grandchildren, Kasey Taylor of Corinth, Texas, Kelsey Taylor of Irving, Texas and Keven Taylor of Addison, Texas; one great-grandchild, Ryan Bianchetti Taylor; and his niece, Kimberly Clingerman of Greenwood, Ind.

Visitation for Jack will be from noon to 8 p.m. Monday with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. A celebration of his life will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Havenbrook Funeral Home chapel in Norman with interment following at Warren Cemetery in Norman.
