Myrle (Farley) Lain

NORMAN — Longtime Norman resident Myrle Lain passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, Toni Lain, on Sunday, June 9, 2013, following an extended illness.

Myrle dedicated the last 30 years of her life to faithfully serving the many families who entered through the doors of Primrose Funeral Service and Sunset Memorial Park as a family service counselor. She graciously and lovingly offered a comforting shoulder to many who had lost their loved ones.

Myrle is survived by her daughter, Toni Lain of Norman, and son, Mark Lain, and his wife Deana and grandson Seth Lain of Newalla. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would also like to recognize Myrle’s niece, Chris Watson, and her faithful companion dog, Mandra, of Oklahoma City, for always being there in times of need.

The family extends an open invitation for all who would like to pay their final respects to Myrle.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Primrose Chapel. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Services are entrusted to Primrose Funeral Service.

Visitation will be held on Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Primrose Funeral Service.
