NORMAN — Marian Letha McDonald was born to Homer B. and Mildred Lurene (Parks) Herion on May 3, 1931, in Seminole. She departed this life Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at her home in Norman at the age of 82 years.
Mrs. McDonald had resided in Norman since 1969, coming from Stockton, Calif. She attended Stonewall High School. On July 9, 1949, she and Mr. Billy Gene McDonald were united in marriage. During her working years, she was employed as a bookkeeper for Midas Muffler. She enjoyed quilting, needlepoint and crafts.
Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Billy Gene, in 2011.
She is survived by one son, David Alan McDonald and wife Sheryl of Noble; one daughter, Pat Reese; one sister, Barbara Ellen Dewar of Vancouver, Wash.; two grandchildren, Gene McDonald and Tabatha Baughman; one great-grandson, Turner Garrison Baughman; and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at McMahans Funeral chapel in Moore.
Interment will be at Noble IOOF Cemetery in Noble.
