NORMAN — Services for Dorothy Pearl Williamson McElrath, 81, of Stratford, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Little Axe First Baptist Church with Dr. Sunny Stuart officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Norman.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Criswell Funeral Home in Ada and from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at Primrose Funeral Home, 1109 N. Porter in Norman.

Mrs. McElrath died March 12, 2014, at an Ada nursing home. She was born Feb. 5, 1933, in Stratford, to Walter Ellis and Esther Dorcus Beasley Williamson.

She married Marvin Houston McElrath on March 19, 1977. He preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 2013.

Mrs. McElrath had been employed with the State of Oklahoma Department of Agriculture as a seed analyst until her retirement. She was a member of the Little Axe First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, David Hinkle and his wife Rejane of El Paso, Texas, Barbara Sheppard of Oklahoma City, Norma Beard and her husband Mike of Wanette and Brian Hinkle and his wife Kelli of Stratford; two brothers, Joe Williamson and wife Mabel of Santa Barbara, Calif. and Jack Williamson and wife Lela of Vanoss; a sister, Lois Carder and husband Dick of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Georgia Kay Hinkle; granddaughter, Candace Sheppard; three brothers, Robert Williamson, Richard Williamson and Lee Williamson; and four sisters, Marie Clampett, Martha (Polly) Williams, Katherine “Cotton” Williamson and Sally Cordell.

Pall bearers will be Michael Hinkle, David Sheppard, Tracy Simmons, Walter Beard, Andy Hinkle and Adam Hinkle. Honorary bearers will be Austin Hinkle, Jaxon Hinkle, Logan Beard, Aiden Beard, Brody Hinkle and Riley Hinkle
