NORMAN — Charles “Kelly” Douglas, 85, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014, in Norman. He was born Sept. 9, 1928, in Kingfisher County to Harry and Jessie (McGinnis) Douglas.

He worked for Bond Bread Company and was known as “Bondy the Bond Bread Man.” After retirement, he worked for McGlothlin Gas Company.

On Nov. 4, 1992, he married Billye McMeekan in Norman.

He was a member of Goodrich United Methodist Church and was past Master of the Masonic Lodge No. 56 A.F. & A.M.

Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife, Billye; stepdaughter, Carol McDermott and husband Terry of Yukon; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Mercer-Adams.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Mercer-Adams chapel, with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. To share a memory or condolence, visit mercer-adams.com.
