NORMAN — Marcia Lynn Stockwell, 54, died peacefully at home with her family at her side on April 7, 2013. “Marcie” was born Sept. 19, 1958, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to T.J. and Patricia Henry of Lawton.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 235 W. Duffy in Norman. The family will receive visitors from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman.

She graduated from Lawton Eisenhower High School in 1976 and continued her education at the University of Oklahoma where she earned a degree in Pharmacy.

While attending the University of Oklahoma, she was an active member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority and loved that her daughters continued the Pi Beta Phi legacy.

She was also an active member with the Junior League and Assistance League of Norman.

She received her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2001 and worked as pharmacist at Ken’s Discount Pharmacy in Norman for more than 20 years.

On April 26, 1986, Marcie married Dave Stockwell. They had two daughters, MacKenzie (24) and Madison (22). MacKenzie begins her studies at Georgetown University in June for a Master in nursing. Madison will begin Oklahoma City University School of Law in August on a merit scholarship.

Marcie loved to travel. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, was one of her favorite destinations. She loved to hang out with her girls at the Office and the Nowhere Bar.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Belle Streich of Wichita Falls, Texas; and Joe and Hazel Henry of Marshall, Texas; and her father-in-law, Benjamin and mother-in-law Marge Stockwell of Norman.

She is survived by her husband, Dave Stockwell of the home; daughters MacKenzie Stockwell Dennis and husband Ryan of Norman and Madison Stockwell of Norman; parents, T.J. and Pat Henry of Lawton; brother, Mike Henry and wife Debbie and their children Staci Walker and husband Rick of Lawton and Shelli Henry of Lawton; brother, Mark Henry and his wife Lucinda of Lawton and their children Justin Henry of Oklahoma City and Dillon Henry and wife Mollie of Austin, Texas; sister-in-law, Peggy Stockwell and brother-in- law Richard Stevens of Norman and their children Michael Stevens and Elizabeth Stevens; and a host of aunts, uncles, great-nieces and nephew and cousins.
