Julia ‘Marie’ Ralls

NORMAN — Julia “Marie” Ralls, 85, of Norman, passed away Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, after complications from surgery due to breast cancer.

Marie was born on May 28, 1928, in Caddo to Lydia Byington Wilson and Isaac Wilson. Marie was a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.

Marie thoroughly enjoyed her life at her last home, Holiday Heights in Norman, and was treated with kindness and respect by the staff. The family will always be grateful to the Holiday Heights family for their attention and care during these past years.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Richards Ralls; her parents, Lydia Byington Wilson and Isaac Wilson; and a beloved uncle, Philip Johnston Byington.

She leaves behind her daughter, Lona “Rena” Bridge and Bill Waterhouse of Norman; her son, Joseph Richards Ralls Jr. and Jana Ralls of Bakersfield, Calif.; and her daughter, Dr. Susan Lee Pulling and David Pulling of Norman. Marie leaves behind as well her grandson, Todd Aaron Bridge of Columbia, S.C.; granddaughter, Halley Marie Dzendolet and husband Cory Dzendolet; and great-grandson Dylan McKade Dzendolet of Pittsburgh. Marie was fortunate enough to have found love later in life with Kelly Doner.

She was a beautiful lady who will be remembered by many and will be deeply missed.

A memorial will be shared with friends and family at a later date.
