NORMAN — Charles G. Clark, 81, of Norman, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013. Charles was born Nov. 23, 1931, in Seminole to Charles Hamilton Clark and Martha Noreen (Funk) Clark.
Charles retired from the National Severe Storms Laboratory in Norman, where he worked as a radar operator. He was also a retired lieutenant colonel in the United States Air Force Reserve. Charles was a member of Northeast Baptist Church, Norman Masonic Lodge No. 38, York Rite Bodies, Order of the Eastern Star and the Past Matrons and Patrons Club.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, David Scott Brinlee.
Charles is survived by his wife, Wilma; son, Scott Clark; daughter, Ann Brinlee and husband David; grandson, Mark Brinlee; brother, James Sydney Clark; and sister, Martha Jane Murphy.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Primrose Funeral Service. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Northeast Baptist Church, 905 E. Rock Creek Road in Norman, with interment at Sunset Memorial Park in Norman.
