NORMAN — Matthew Aaron Dorrough, 29, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012.
Services to celebrate his life will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, at McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church, in Norman.
He was born April 16, 1982 in Norman to Bryce and Vicki Dorrough. A lifetime resident of Norman, Matt graduated from Norman North High School in 2001 and attended OSU. He worked as a dental lab tech for Bryce C. Dorrough, DDS, MS. Matt enjoyed water and snow skiing, wakeboarding, movies, practical jokes and his love of life was evident by the ever present smile on his face. In Oct. 2006, he married Tamra Renee Feexico. He was a member of LifeChurch. Matt will be greatly missed but there is comfort in knowing he is with God.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Mark Lewis, and grandparents, Ruby and C.L. Lewis.
He leaves behind his parents, Bryce and Vicki Dorrough; wife, Tamra Dorrough; his daughter, Briona “Yonna” Renee Dorrough, who was the sunshine of his life; brother, Kris Dorrough; paternal grandparents, Joe and Marie Dorrough; and many loving family members and friends.
Viewing will be noon to 8 p.m. Sunday and 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Vondel Smith Mortuary, in Oklahoma City, with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
