NORMAN — Rodney Charles DeMun was born to Rodney O. and Clara (Dieter) DeMun on Feb. 20, 1939 in Warsaw, New York. He tragically passed away in an automobile accident on Dec. 6, 2012.

He attended school at Perry, New York. He married Beverly A. Taylor. He was a machinist by trade and worked for Marcum Tubing before his retirement.

He and his wife moved to Noble in 1990 from Perry, New York where he lived until his death. He enjoyed restoring old cars and spending time with his family.

Those who survive him include his wife Beverly, three sons; Rodney W. DeMun III, Sidney O. DeMun and Davin W. DeMun, one daughter, Elizabeth A. DeMun, two brothers; Orlo DeMun and Karl Calkins, one sister, Linda Chapek, nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

His guneral service will be held at a later date in New York. Arrangements are by McMahans Funeral Home.
