Clayton Lee Bettes

NORMAN — Clayton Lee Bettes, of Pauls Valley and formerly of Norman, was born July 6, 1973, to Lee Bettes, Jr. and Wilma Bettes in Pauls Valley and died at the home of his parents Saturday, June 22, 2013, at 39 years of age.

He was predeceased by his father, Lee W. Bettes Jr., and his grandparents, Lee Sr. and Etta Bettes of Norman.

He worked at the Dell Computer Call Center in Oklahoma City as a technical senior enterprise analyst, a job he truly enjoyed performing. In his time off, he also enjoyed playing online computer games with family and friends all across the nation, reading, playing Frisbee golf, riding motorcycles, fishing, gourmet cooking, playing different musical instruments and just visiting with his many friends and family.

He left surviving his parents David and Wilma Jones of Pauls Valley; and among other beloved relatives he left those residing in the Norman area, who are his sister, Letha Anderson; brother, Wayne Bettes; his nephew and good friend, Brandon Bettes and wife Stacy, formerly of Norman, now of Stillwater; his aunt, Patty McKee and husband Tommy; his niece, Holly Pitman; and his cousins Kristen Claydon and husband Tommy, John McKee and wife Amy and Nancy Copeland Williford and husband Gary.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church, 401 N. Willow in Pauls Valley, under direction of Wooster Funeral Home, with cremation following.

His ashes will be buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley at a later date.

There will be visitation with the family after the memorial until 5 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the church. All are welcome to attend.
