NORMAN — Cindy Warren Hill, 68, passed away after a brief but bravely fought battle with cancer on Sunday, June 8, 2014. She was born Sept. 14, 1945, in Centralia, Ill., to Howard Burton Warren and Hazel Adele (Purcell) Warren. Cindy’s parents are both deceased.
She was raised in Tulsa and attended Tulsa Edison High School. Cindy attended both the University of Oklahoma and the University of Tulsa.
Soon after, she met and married the man of her dreams, Bob Hill, on Feb. 10, 1966. They lived in Wichita, Kan., Parsons, Kan., Miami, Okla., Muskogee and finally moved to Norman in 2005, where she enjoyed following all of her favorite OU sports with Bob. She also enjoyed cooking, playing golf and spending time with her family and friends.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband, Bob Hill of Norman; her daughter, Leighan Gearhart of Broken Arrow; her son, Steve Hill of Muskogee; her sister, Fritzie Roop and her husband Barry of Dallas; her brother, H.B. Warren and his wife Allison of Stuart, Fla.; her beloved grandsons Connor Warren Gearhart of Stillwater and Harrison Weldon Gearhart of Broken Arrow; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and many, many close family friends.
A memorial service and celebration of Cindy’s life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Havenbrook Funeral Home chapel, 3401 Havenbrook St. in Norman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Webb, Barry Hurley, Phil Strategier, John Cooper, Bill Newman, John Walstad, Matt DeLozier, JB Shuelein, John Finley, Mike Jones, Robb Garwood, Loyd Cox, Danny Sanchez, Barry Roop and Lance Allen.
