NORMAN — Nancy Ann Craig Hall, 79, a lifelong resident of Cleveland County, departed this life Wednesday, July 2, 2014. She was born October 17, 1934 to Thomas Lee and Agnes Craig.
Nancy graduated from Moore High School and later married James E. Hall. They had a loving marriage of 54 years. Nancy retired from the city of Moore, where she worked for 30 years as the inspection clerk. She loved church. Both she and James were founders of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Moore and later founders of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Norman.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James.
Nancy is survived by her three children and their spouses: Neal Hall and his wife, Rhonda, of Moore; Virginia Schultz and her husband, Greg, of Norman: Karen Shipman and her husband Richard of Tuttle; five grandchildren, Chris Hall, Jessica Schultz, Christina Connel, Stephanie Taylor, and John Shipman; two brothers; four sisters; numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved and a special lifelong friend, Rosealee Krohmer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be10 a.m. today, July 7, 2014, at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Norman. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home in Moore.
