NORMAN — Nancy L. Dragoo was born Dec. 1, 1933, in Milwaukee to George and Lucille Humphrey. She departed this life Friday, July 11, 2014, in Norman, at the age of 80.
Mrs. Dragoo moved with her family to California as a child. She married Mr. James Tinkey in 1950 and they had four children together. She and Mr. Bronson Dragoo were united in marriage on Feb. 6, 1964, in Sepulveda, Calif. They moved to Norman in 1975. She was employed with the University of Oklahoma in the custodial department before her retirement in 1997.
She enjoyed shopping, watching her favorite television shows, spending time fishing at their lake house on Lake Texoma and visiting with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael Tinkey; two daughters, Peggy and Mary.
Those who survive her include her husband, Bronson of the home, two sons, Jim Tinkey of Colorado and Ron Dragoo of California; one brother; six sisters; numerous grandchildren; and other relatives.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at McMahans Funeral chapel. Interment will be hosted at a later date.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 to 6 p.m.
