NORMAN — Alvin Kay Wilson, 91, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013. Alvin was born May 30, 1922, in Hooker to Wallace and Ruth (Strain) Wilson. He proudly served in World War II, where he was honorably discharged as an Air Force captain. He was also a Mason and a Shriner here in Norman.
A. Kay enjoyed his family, playing bridge and flying airplanes, and he loved cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Kaylen Melton of Denver.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Lenora May Wilson of the home; daughter, Dana Pascucci and husband Perry of Tulsa; grandchild, Kaitlin Brister and husband Austin of Norman; great-grandchild, Tyler Brister; grandchild, Dr. Daniel Pascucci of Tulsa; son-in-law, Ben Melton of Denver; grandchildren Alicia Berry and husband Tony of Denver; great-grandchild, Kaysen; and grandchild, J. Kay Melton and wife Heather of New York.
Services for A. Kay will be 2 p.m. Thursday at First Christian Church, 220 S. Webster Ave. in Norman.
Arrangements for Alvin Kay Wilson and his family were placed in the care of the Vice family at the Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman.
