Lloyd Prescott Williams

NORMAN — Lloyd Prescott Williams, best known to family and friends as “Scott,” entered the kingdom of heaven Thursday, April 17, 2014, after a sudden illness. Scott was born in Norman, the youngest son of Lloyd P. and Louise M. Williams.

He was a life-long city resident, attending McKinley Elementary, West Junior High and Norman High School. After high school, he honorably served our country for more than 30 years as a member of the United States Air Force Reserve and as a civilian avionics specialist at Tinker Air Force Base, where he supervised maintenance and repair of some of the most advanced aircraft in our military’s inventory.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his two treasured daughters, Sheena and Megan; three brothers, David, Douglas and Chesley; and many dear relatives and close friends.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the JourneyChurch, 3801 Journey Parkway in Norman. Private burial services in Dallas are pending.

Flowers may be delivered to JourneyChurch on the day of service.
