Inez met the love of her life, J.B. Strategier, at The Diner on East Main Street in 1947. They were married April 17, 1948, in Norman, where they lived and raised their three children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Strategier; her grandson, Grant Bernard Strategier; her parents, two sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include Phil Strategier and his wife Gay of Norman, Pam Strategier Panter of Collierville, Tenn., and Greg Strategier and his wife Jamie of New Orleans; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
