John David Zedeker

NORMAN — John David Zedeker was born in Bellefountaine, Ohio to Laurabel Crabtree and George Zedeker. He married Roberta Truman on Oct 7, 1967. They have five children.

John worked for Super Food Services of Bellefountaine, Ohio, and Scrivner, Inc. and Fleming Companies, both of Oklahoma City.

John and his wife made their home in Norman. He was a big OU Sooner fan.

John was preceded in death by his parents and brothers in law William Kohl and Bruce Bowman. He is survived by his wife; children Terri jMueller (Ronald, John Zedeker Jr., Matthew Zedeker (Ronelle), Amy Schoonover (Dondi), and Michael Zedeker (Theresa); grandchildren Shelby Zedeker (Taylor Hansmeyer and son Jackson), Emily Mueller, Kaitlyn, Bridget and Morgan Zedeker, Dylon and Madison Schoonover, Cole Zedeker; brother Robert Zedeker; sister Connie Bowman; mother-in-law Betty Parcels; in-laws Dean Truman (Joyce), Deborah Kohl and Beth Nawman (Roger); aunt Eileen Innskeep and uncle Gene Innskeep.

Services are under the direction of Primrose Funeral Services in Norman and will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 9 at the Goodrich United Methodist Church in Norman. Burial will be at the Norman IOOF Cemetery.
