She started in the game of life on Sept. 26, 1924, and started with Team Jesus on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012.
“For to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” — 11 Corinthians 5:8
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Walker Funeral Service chapel, with burial to follow at the Wanette Cemetery.
She is saying goodbye to the team she built here: her daughter, Sylvia (Susie) Petrey and husband Wendell; granddaughters Tara Carpenter and husband Tym, Amanda Petrey and Jeff Dillon and Samantha Petrey; great-granddaughters Gracelynn and bonus great-granddaughter Madison; great-grandson, Elijah; her son, Jimmy Palmer and wife Jami; two grandsons, Joey and wife Kim and Jeremy; great-grandsons Alex and bonus great-grandsons: Tanner and Landon; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
