Wanda Lee Barth

NORMAN — Wanda Lee Barth, 83, passed away Monday, July 8, 2013, in Norman. She was born Sept. 23, 1929, in Apache to Elzie and Hester Estelle Cates.

Wanda moved to Vinita in 1957 with her husband, Dr. James Wallace Boone, to set up his dental practice. They were married for 18 years.

Wanda is survived by two sons, Stephen Wallace Boone and wife Elizabeth of Bastrope, Texas, and James Cates Boone and wife Sharlene of Sand Springs; one daughter, Lee Ann Boone of Norman; six grandchildren, Jonathan Cates Boone, Justin Dwane Boone, Katie Jean Boone, Whitney Lee Young and Cameron, Addison Boone Stroud and Shea Virginia Stroud; and three great-grandchildren, Hattie Bell Young, Dariona Boone and Kaylee Boone.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elzie and Hester (Bailey) Cates.

Visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Resthaven Funeral Home chapel, with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
