Wilson Onesalt

NORMAN — Wilson Onesalt, age 72, of Norman, passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012. He was born May 23, 1940, in Navajo Mountain, Ariz., to Tony and Isabel Onesalt.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home chapel in Moore. Interment to follow at Denver Cemetery in Norman.

Wilson was a welder and was a very hard worker. He enjoyed working and was very good at his job. Wilson enjoyed traveling and was an avid OU fan. He enjoyed all OU sports, especially football and basketball. His first love was spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ethel Holiday; and two brothers, Antonio Onesalt and Edwin Onesalt.

Wilson is survived by his wife of 23 years, Leota Mallow-Onesalt of Norman; four children, Harriett Onesalt, Theodore Onesalt, Andy Onesalt and Lennox Onesalt and wife Melissa; two stepchildren, Tammie Mallow-Dresch and husband Sean and Vickie Girgus; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five sisters; one brother; and one sister-in-law.

Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home.
